The New Orleans Arena is located in the Central Business District, adjacent to the Louisiana Superdome. It has been home to the New Orleans Hornets of the NBA since 2002, and is also home to some Tulane University basketball games as well as some high school basketball games and other special events. It is within walking distance of many popular areas in New Orleans, such as the French Quarter, the Central Business District, and the mighty Mississippi River. The Arena is a popular chioce for large events such as nationally recognized music acts, trade shows, and conventions.
